The Woman

Yhaniqua Lopes is a strong, fearless  woman, determined to go after all her ambitions.

She is a remarkable woman for her unique personality.

When she enters in a room, she is noticed because of her elegant, yet edgy look. 

She is an inspiration for many and her energy attracts  the right things and people.

She is always on the go and has no time for negativity.

She invests on self-development and always makes time for self-care.

She is a woman of faith, God is her foundation and her biggest inspiration.

She has her scars from life, and is continuously healing herself.

She loves to travel, and explore other cultures. 

She lives life to the fullest and believes that nothing is impossible.

The Brand 

Yhaniqua Lopes was created in 2012 by Ariane Fonseca.

The brand is coming back in 2021, after being paused for 3 years. YL provides Afrocentric clothing and accessories for the modern woman who wants to make a statement and represent the continent of Africa. It uses vibrant colors and edgy cuts to create a remarkable experience in the life of every woman who wears it.

The Designer 

Ariane Fonseca is originally from Angola, she has a Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University and speaks 4 languages. Her passion for fashion started when she was still a little girl - she would cut her clothes and use them to make creative projects. Her mother used to get mad at her because of the amount of clothes she would waste, until she finally understood the Ariane had a passion for fashion. She has lived in two continents and loves to make friends around the world.
